I hate scanners.
And I was quite dissapointed when I checked what other people have made up when it comes to this mythical creature and most of them were just red birds. I mean, it is a firebird but couldn't there be a little more imagination? So I made something unordinary. ´///`

A short explanation about the phoenix:
The phoenix is a firebird, which can live a very long life (about 500-1000 years). After that it builds a nest of myrrh twigs and then it burns itself along with the nest (stupid creature; never give matches to old people) and they both are reduced to ashes. From the ashes rises a new young phoenix or an egg of the phoenix, which lives as long life as the older self. After that it burns itself to ashes - AGAIN! (stupid creature) So long live reincarnation and stupid old firebirds!

BTW I was trying to catch an imbossible, twisted pose to this since the creature rises from the ash and it's fantasy so I made the limbs a little longer and curved the body more on purpose.
PS. WHOA! what a download. Even the blue spots can still be seen somehow.
